About the Book

In the present digital era, the applications of ICT in teaching and learning process are really inevitable and enormous. Every teacher and student should know how to make use the applications effectively in the process of teaching and learning. Keeping this fact in the mind, the book ‘Research Tools in ICT in Teaching has been written. The book is the outcome of the research surveys conducted in the recent years towards the construction and standardization of tools on ICT in teaching. This book will give an enlightening experience for teachers who are doing research in the field of ICT. M.Ed. students, M.Phil. scholars and Ph.D. scholars who are doing research in ICT related topics, would find this book very useful and suitable to their research work.

About the Author

The author of the Book, Dr. S. Rajasekar, is a Professor in the Department of Education, Annamalai University. He holds M.Sc and M.Phil Degrees in Physics and Ph.D in Education. He is working in the Department of Education, Annamalai University for the past 23 years and has published more than fifty research papers and thirteen books in the field of education. His areas of interest are Information Technology Enabled Services, Computer Education, Educational Technology and Science Education. He is handling subjects like Methodology of teaching Physical Science, Computer Education, Methodology of Teaching Computer Science and Educational Technology. Several years, he took classes for B.Ed and M.Ed. students of Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University in various cities in India. Also he handled classes for the B.Ed students of Institute of Correspondence Education, University of Madras and Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore. He has participated and presented research papers in several National and International conferences in Education. Also he acted as a resource person in various UGC Orientation and Refresher Courses and has given lectures on Information and Communication Technology and also in Science Education.
