PREFACE

In order to enrich the process of knowledge generation and serve one of the essential responsibilities of every scholar associated with the field of education I undertook the task of writing this book. In this book, I have tried my level best to incorporate all the contents and important sections in such a manner so as to provide benefit to the satisfaction of the requirement of all the learners.

In drafting/ writing this book I paid special attention towards the following points: Firstly, it should cover all the portions as per the syllabus even practical work section has also been very thoroughly dealt with; Secondly, the language of the book is kept very understandable but on the upper edge or advantageous side the selection of words is being done very extensively in order to make language impressive and suitable to the area of education; thirdly, in order to make the content more reliable, unambiguious and specific suitable data, examples and description is given even figures are made use of; Fourthly, the whole content is presented in form of properly bifurcated and interlinked sections so as to help students to easily relate to it; Fifthly, the summary sections at the end of each unit are added to enable the students to have a quick glance and recapitulate what they have gone through in each unit so as to transform their knowledge into permanent learning; Sixthly, sufficient questions for practice are given at the end of each unit.

This book is a complete endeavour to motivate students to comprehend the concepts related to the arena of education and society and derive maximum benefit from it in developing their educational pursuits.
