PREFACE
We are elated to present the book Pedagogy of School Subject Physical Sciences before you. This book has been prepared to guide students of B.Ed. under different universities, and special care has been taken to meet all their possible needs in connection with the course.
Today, we have entered a new era, when the world of education is expanding rapidly. This subject has assumed importance in the present context, more so because a large number of students choose to opt for the subject of Physical Sciences. Its scope has all the more expanded in view of the expanding world scenario in which the world appears to have become a global village. Keeping in view their needs, we have given a novel and attractive form to the content and form of the book.
We have written this book in a lucid and simple manner, comprising topics of the subject included in the syllabi of different universities; therefore, students can fully depend on this book for their exhaustive needs as far as the subject of Physical Science is concerned.
The syllabus has been divided into suitable units. To add qualitative value to the units, we have given exhaustive exercises in the form of long answer type questions, short answer type questions, very short answer type questions, objective and multiple choice questions. Much care has been taken to ensure that all topics are presented in a very simple, fluent, lucid and comprehendible language. Wherever needed, terminology has been explained in the text.
We have taken the help of treatises and books on the subject from different scholars and writers and we feel indebted to them. Wherever we have done so, we have appended their names and the names of their works. We are assured that the present book will be able to meet the needs of
all students studying Physical Sciences in different universities attain
high scores in them.
