It is a universal fact that language is an acquired skill and is the base of all types of knowledge. India is adorned with many languages. But using a common language as a medium of instruction in schools and colleges has been a matter of concern, when students come together in a particular class or educational institute, they are not from the same linguistic background. This book named ‘Language Across the Curriculum’ is an attempt to suggest strategies as to how the teacher can cope not only with language diversity but also help the students to overcome it.
