Educational Technology

In the modern era of technological progress and advancement every teacher needs to be equipped with the essential knowledge and skills of educational technology for successful implementation of any novel scheme or planning of school education. This task can be accomplished well by making appropriate provision of such nature in the pre-service and in-service training progress organized for the teachers. The beginning in this direction can be properly made by making the study of Educational technology compulsory in the pre-service teacher education programs. It is why we may witness the presence of Educational technology as a compulsory subject in all the teacher training programs belonging to all stages of school education. It is in this sense that Government of Delhi has come up with a full fledged compulsory paper “Educational Technology” in its DEI. Ed. Syllabus. The present text is intended to meet the requirements of this paper/course.

It goes without saying that every creation by its author has its own style and merits to its credit. The present one is no exception. A few special features of this text may be pointed out as below-

• It claims to cover each and every aspect of the prescribed syllabus quite in detail.

• A prior knowledge about the contents of chapter has been given in the shape of chapter outlines in the beginning itself.
