R.K. Miglani (b. 03.03.1948), Saharanpur (U.P.), He has passed B.Sc. in 1968, B. Ed. in 1970, M. Sc. (Maths) with Ist Division (Regular) in 1981 while in service. M.Com. (Private) in 1985 from Meerut University and completed M.Ed. in 1993 from Annamalai University while working in DIET. He started teaching even before completing B.Ed. in 1968 in village of U.P. in 1970 appointed as a science and maths teacher in Arya Hr. Sec. School, Panipat (Haryana) and worked as editor of science, English and Maths section of Aggarsar Magazine in same. school for 4 years and worked as a warden in boys.

hostel. On 13th Jan, 1975 joined as T.G.T. Science (A) in the Directorate of Education Delhi. After working for 17 years in the school, on 23rd Sept., 1992 joined as a lecturer (Maths) in BNN DIET Shahdara, SCERT. In Dec. 1992 transferred to DIET R.N. and worked till Retirement. Specialty: Worked as D.D.O. in DIET (R.N.) for a year. Since the starting, he has organized various programs, seminars, subject-related workshops, cultural and moral values-based programs. Presently he is working as subject specialist in seminars of in-service teachers of MCD and NDMC. A number of articles of Mathematics have been printed in the magazine/journal of DIET, NCERT and Indian Journal of Mathematics. He has written 4 books on “Teaching of Elementary Mathematics: Part-1 and 2 in both mediums Le English and Hindi for the students of D.El.Ed. Therefore till date for ETC, D Ed. and BEd. students. Maths-based 22 books in Elementary Mathematics are published through which all students, Lecturers of Delhi DIETS, Haryana and All over India are being benefited. He was honored by the “Radha Krishna Award” for Best lecturer in 2002. Now this is part II which is in your hand.

Shalini Mankatalia (b. 14th Nov 1974), Delhi. She has completed graduation (B.Sc) and post-graduation (M. Sc. Maths) from university of Delhi. Passed CBSE 10th and 12th Examination through Government School, Directorate of Education Delhi. Attained professional qualification (B.Ed) form Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut. She started her teaching carrer as a leave substitute TGT Maths in a reputed private school in Delhi. Joined Directorate of Education delhi as TGT (Maths) guest teacher and attained 7 months of experience. Selected as Assistant teacher by DSSSB for Directorate of Education, Delhi and worked for 3 years. Selected as TGT (Maths) by

DSSSB and worked for 7 years. Presently working as PGT (Maths), selected directly by DSSSB in the same department. She has contributed as a co-author for many books (CTET and Teaching of Maths) with Mr. R.K. Miglani, served as Resource Person in Inservice training programmers for teachers by SCERT.
