Preface

The 21st Century in many ways, will be significantly different from the last one. The schools will find it more difficult to meet the demand, due to the rate of expansion of knowledge which appears to be increasing and enhancing access to information worldwide. Education for the new millennium therefore should be able to enhance an individual’s ability to evaluate and apply the available information in an efficient manner. This book intends not only to enlighten the students, teachers and other educationists, on current issues in education but also to develop an understanding of the system of education, its relationship with school curriculum transaction and management in the context of the structure processes of classroom system and school leadership and challenges to management.
