About the Authors

Prof. Gara Latchanna, M.A. (Economics), M.A. (Education), – PGDES and Ph.D. (Education), is a Professor of Education and Chairman, Board of Studies in Education (P.G.), School of Education at the Andhra University. He published several books, three book chapters and 20 articles and research papers in reputed Indian Journals. His areas of interest are Economics of Education, Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development, Instructional Design and Curriculum Development, Teacher Education Policy and Practice. He guided 10 M.Phil’s and also 15 Ph.D’s in Education were awarded under his guidance and supervision.

Dr. Kadem Srinivas is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Extension Education at Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer, which is a constituent unit of NCERT. He has Doctorate Degree in Education from Centre of Advanced Study in Education (CASE), The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. He did his Master of Education from Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Mysuru and qualified UGC-NET in Education. His areas of interest are Teacher Education, Philosophy of Education, and Science Education. He has written few books on Education and Science Education.

Dr. Rashmi Srivastava is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer, which is a constituent unit of NCERT. She completed her Doctoral Work as UGC-JRF in Education from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. Her areas of interest are Sociological Foundation of Education and Pedagogy of Social Science. She holds Post Graduate Degrees in Political Science, English Literature, and Education. She has actively participated in many National and International Seminars, Conferences, and Workshops and has published papers in reputed journals.
