The study of language plays an important role in the life of a student as well as a teacher. It is by this medium that one is able to express oneself. Moreover, such practical hints about the language and teaching have been provided at various places that it will make the readers fully proficient in their practical approach. Each chapter also appends suitable exercises covering all three domains of essay type, short answer type and objective type questions, meeting their needs from the examination point of view.

All facts in the book have been logically presented which deal with all aspects at every conceivable level keeping in with the limitation of space and time. The problems of pupil-teachers have been tackled in particular so that they can come out with flying colours in the examinations.
