About the Book

This book, Himman Rights Education is designed to meet the requtrements of the students and seschers who are in the field of education especially with specialization in H Rights, International Understanding and National a International Initiatives for Peace and Rights at the graduste and post-graduate level. In this book, we made an attempt to explain the concept of Human Rights, UNO and Human Rights, Indian Constitution and Human Rights, Human Rights and International Organisations, Human Rights Commissions in India. Human Rights and Marginalised Sections, Human Rights and Other Issues, Human Rights Education, Methods of Teaching Human Rights, etc. This book will serve the purpose of acquainting people about Human Rights.

About the Authors

Dr. G. Lokanadha Reddy has done his MA., M.Phil., Ph.D in Adult Education and PG Diploma in Statistics from S.V. University; B.Ed & M.A. Psychology from Annamalai University and M.Ed. M.A Mass Communication and Journalism from M.K. Universitity. Apart from multi-disciplinary academic background, Dr. Reddy has a varied experience in the training of Teachers. He is the founder Professor of Department of Education Periyar University, Salem and presently is the Dean, School of Education and HRD Dravidian University, Kuppam. He is also a Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship Awardee twice (1997 & 2012). He has also visited and delivered extensive lectures on Special Education and Disability Studies at universities in U.K. He has published 17 books and 160 papers on various aspects of Education. More than 35 scholars have been awarded Ph.D’s under his guidance and 6 are working under him currently.

Dr. T.C. Thankachan presently, he is working as Assistant Professor in Education at St. Thomas College of Teacher Education, Pala, Kerala. He has authored 12 books related to Education and successfully completed two major and one minor Research Project. He has also presented papers in 8 international conferences and 25 national seminar. He is the Chief Editor of the Journal ‘Educational Extracts’.

Alex George is pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Education at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. To his credit he has published one book and 10 papers on various issues on Education in national and international journals.

M. Shailaja presently, she is working for Doctoral degree in Education at Dravidian University, Kuppam. To her credit she has co-authored four books and 10 papers on various issues of Education in national and international journals.
