PREFACE

The necessity of having a simple, comprehensive and systemised book has been felt. The need for such a book has become all the more acute due to the vast syllabus to be covered in a smaller span of time, a dire need for a systematic, simple and comprehensive book on the subject was felt. This book is a humble endeavour from the author’s side to accomplish this task.

This book is complied according to the new syllabus prescribed by Punjabi University, Patiala. It is adequately illustrated with simple common diagrams which are easy to understand and helpful for theory examination.

We feel all the features of this book will definitely go a long way in helping the candidates by giving them the necessary knowledge and confidence required to tackle the examinations successfully.
