Preface

I am extremely happy to present the book “Computers in Education’. This book has been written according to the latest syllabus for B.Ed. course prescribed by the Tami Nadu Teachers Education University to all the government, autonomous and self-financing teacher training colleges. It covers the entire syllabus thoroughly and all the concepts have been described in simple language with necessary illustrations to enable the students to understand them clearly and easily. Even students studying through Tamil medium can understand the concepts in this book very easily as the language and the style of writing are very lucid.

First of all, I express my sincere and deep gratitude to all the authorities of Annamalai University for having permitted me to publish this book.
