PREFACE TO THE PRESENT EDITION

Audio Visual Education is an education of equipping the teachers in a proper way to exercise their prime responsibilities towards their students. In this perspective surely it has to cover wide dimensions and may be entrusted to play quite a significant role in teacher preparation. That is why, now special as well as general courses in Audio Visual Education are going to be quite popular in the preparation of teachers at all levels.

This growing demand as well as the warm welcome of the first edition received from the readers has encouraged us to bring a new edition of the book.

We are very much thankful to our fellow teachers, educators as well as pupil teachers who have been kind enough to forward their views and suggestions about the work. In the new edition, we have tried our best to incorporate their feelings for the necessary enrichment of the contents. With such a few additions and thorough revision, we hope that the present edition will prove more beneficial to those for whom it is meant.
