Institutes is familiar about this art education. The student’s teacher is expected to integrate the art

with the other subjects. The present curriculum of D.ELEd and B.Ed. course in art education has been

designed to integrate with the content of other subjects. Which help them to understand the need for

involving community and utilizing community resources This book has been designed for the students who are pursuing D.EL.Ed and B.Ed. in various teaching institutions and District Institutes of Education and Training run by various states of India.

Dr.(Mrs.) Rajesh Gill has done 8.A., B.Ed., M.A. (Fine Arts, Education and Hind

and M.Ed from MD University, Rohtak She obtained her Ph.D. (Drawing and Painting) from Rajasthan University Jaipur: As a renowned artist she has won all India exhibitions awards twice. She has been holding various solo art exhibitions in different cities across India. She was the member of art in education curricular development in NIOS (DELED). She has to her credit numerous articles which have been published in journals (around 10 of repute. She has attended several workshops and seminars at National Level Her several art works were appreciated by the renowned art critics and artists of National and International Level, through various National Newspapers, TV channels and All India Radio. Recently she was honored by Haryana Gaurav award. At present she is working as assistant professor in department of education at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, New Delhi
