Dr S.K. Bhatia is a former Associate Professor of C. I. E., Delhi University. He has a long experience of teaching School Organization and Management at the B.Ed, & M.Ed. levels. He also guided a number of Research Scholars in Educational Administration and Teaching Strategies at the M.Phil. and PhD levels. Many of his Research Papers have been published in prestigious Journals of Education.

Teaching and book-writing is Dr Bhatia’s passion. He has authored 15 books at the +2, D.EL.Ed., and B.Ed. levels and the present book is the latest which has been published in co-authorship with Dr Amit Ahuja.

Dr Amit Ahuja is a Senior Assistant Professor at GGSIP University. He too takes a keen interest in School Organization and Management. He has published about 25 research papers and articles in the National and International Journal of Education. He is supervising PhD scholars in the domain of Science Education, Educational & Vocational Guidance and Cognitive Psychology. He has presented his Research Papers at many National and International conferences and seminars in India and Abroad.

Both authors have rich experience in writing books and research papers. The main feature of their writing is that they focus on the theme and the needs of the target group for whom the study material is being developed. The present book has been written for the B.Ed. student-teachers, though some topics may prove beneficial for the M.Ed. students also. As both authors have a long experience in teaching and exchanging views with student teachers, they incorporated the relevant details which should be thoroughly studied by them. An attempt has been made to simplify the concepts and principles related to School Organization and Management. Simple, relevant and interesting examples have been given to clarify the concepts. Situational experiences have been shared at several places to crystallize certain facts about School Organization and Management.
